West Ham faces AFC Wimbledon this Saturday (7:45 pm) with the intention of advancing to the round of 16 of the FA Cup after beating Birmingham City in the previous round.

After losing against Bournemouth in the last Premier League match, Manuel Pellegrini's team returns to the FA Cup trying to advance in a tournament in which they fell in this round the last year. The Hammers were eliminated by Wigan Athletic in the previous edition, but West Ham have the opportunity to get the revenge.

After defeating Birmingham City in the third round, West Ham face a rival that have already faced this season. They played in August, in the second round of the Carabao Cup when the Hammers got the win for 3-1.

Manuel Pellegrini will count on Lucas Pérez. The Spanish striker played 81 minutes on that match and now will face a team in troubles.

AFC Wimbledon is the last team in the English Football League One's table and the last time that achieved a victory was on December, 26. The lack of goal -22 goals scored in 23 matches played- is a handicap for the team led by Wally Downes.

West Ham will try to impose their superiority and advance to the next round of the tournament. With the difficult purpouse of reaching the European zone of the table, the Hammers put all the hopes on the FA Cup.
